Tamsin Dowsett

Tamsin graduated from The Royal Academy of Music (2012). Prior training includes The Tring Park School for the Performing Arts (Scholarship in Musical Theatre).

Tamsin, for a second year, is currently playing the part of Crone/Understudy Madame Thenardier in the 30th Anniversary Company of ‘Les Miserables’ in London’s West End.

Recent credits include Fairy Sprout/Fairy Drought in ‘Jack & The Beanstalk’ (Oldham Coliseum), Lambchops in ‘Fame’ (The Gordon Craig Theatre), Mrs. Lottie Childs/Patricia Fodor in ‘Crazy for You’ (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), Helen Furnival in ‘The Seed’ (Goat & Monkey), Tigerlilly in ‘Peter Pan’ (London Touring Theatre), Martine in DNA (The Cockpit), Lucy in ‘Do Us Part’ (Heat & Light, Hampstead Theatre), Mummar Anne in Goat & Monkey s ‘A Little Neck’ (Hampton Court Palace) and Kid in ‘First Time Voters’ at the Bush Theatre (Drywrite).

She has worked extensively with the National Youth Theatre where productions include ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, ‘Measure for Measure’, ‘The Merchant of Venice’, ‘Relish’, ‘100 Words’, ‘Victory Street’, ‘Pageant’, ‘ID:1000’ and ‘The Clown Cabaret’.

Tamsin was also lucky enough to take part in the Olympic Handover Ceremony at the Birds Nest Stadium in Beijing, China. She was also a member of The National Youth Music Theatre appearing in ‘Nos Vies En Rose’ (Birmingham Hippodrome).
